SO&SO is an interdisciplinary arts organization devoted to integrating movement, visual art, writing, and storytelling into any medium. Founded in 1976, SO&SO works center around good stories rooted in history, memory, and what emerges in the moment.
Projects vary according to the artistic collaboration and message of the work. SO&SO classes are designed to strengthen the body-mind connection and the internal "director" who connects the dots. Practices are rooted in the improvisational forms of jazz, dance/theater, language poetry, and athletic play. Imagination is set into motion.
